Apple Releases iOS 12.4.1 to Fix iPhone Jailbreak Vulnerability

Apple has released iOS version 12.4.1 on 26 th August 2019, the first update since iOS 12.4. The latest update includes a patch for the jailbreak vulnerability recently discovered in 12.4. Apple has long had contempt for jailbreaking, so it's no surprise the company would release a patch for the vulnerability. It's unusual for this jailbreak to be so current, as it typically takes jailbreaks quite some time to break through each repetition of iOS. But it looks to be a case of Apple unintentionally un-patching a bug that allowed jailbreaking in iOS 12.2 versions, as indicated in the security release notes. Apple WatchOS 5.3 Update Brings Walkie Talkie Back

Apple has brought the Walkie Talkie app back to the Apple Watch , after it disable the feature earlier this month owing to security vulnerability. Walkie Talkie is a FaceTime feature that enables push-to-talk calls between users, provided they grant permission. As well as the iOS 12.4 software update, Apple also released a new software update for the Apple Watch, watchOS 5.3. The watchOS 5.3 software update brings some new features to the Apple Watch; it also brings the ability to use the Walkie Talkie feature on the device again. This feature was previously disabled after a security bug was discovered with it, this has now been fixed.
